Latrobe Council

Latrobe Council's 2019 Priority Projects

With the Federal Election looming, Latrobe Council has developed a list of priorities for future partnerships with the government.

The Municipality of Latrobe boasts the historic township of Latrobe, the picturesque seaside resort of Port Sorell and some of the Nation’s finest agricultural land.

These local assets provide a high quality of lifestyle for residents, and contribute towards the area being recognised as one of the fastest growing municipalities in the state.

To make the most of its opportunities, Latrobe Council balances the needs of the community with prudent financial management, and works closely with other Councils and local businesses in the region to achieve the best outcomes for the community.

In order to deliver the best outcomes for the local community, Latrobe Council has identified our highest priority projects that require a partnership with other tiers of government to complete.

We invite you to join us, in a journey towards the realisation of these Priority Projects that will contribute to the continued growth of Latrobe and North West Tasmania.
